Yuralria Aiko Kunayak wasn't your normal, everyday Australian girl. In fact, she was very different from what you would expect. One would think she had the accent that many of them had, or use some of the lingo they used. Perhaps they might even think that her looks were a little different from Asian that they sometimes see down there. In many ways, Ria wasn't a normal girl, and she had difficulty speaking English, and that was only America's English. She hasn't even tried to touch the different sort of lingo that the Aussie's picked up from living where they did. She was still struggling after four years of living in America, and she was dropped in a totally different environment, just to study law.
Because of her differences with the language and the lingo, as well as the times she slipped up and started speaking Inuit, she was feeling particularly alone. Of course, she would have brought her dog with her, and she would have felt a lot better about herself, but Anui was living with her father back int he states, somewhere in North Dakota. She missed the silver husky that had been by her side for a whole year and a half. He was a beautiful puppy.
She looked around, taking in the area. She had stumbled upon the playground, and realizing the time of day, as the sky was pitch black, it was empty, and it made sense. The stars were really bright tonight. But it was the full moon that caught her eye, and played a small smile upon her lips. Shadow's were playing along with the light. Every now and then they wavered as cars headlights caused them to disperse, and then reappear, looking ten times darker than they were before. She was sure it was her imagination, but still, it was certainly interesting.
Ria walked over the rocky terrain, her finger tips grazing the metal things that kept children happy and outside, as well as keeping them healthy and active. She stopped as she reached the swing set. There were others displayed all throughout the park, but these were the closest by the way that she came in, and so she decided to take a seat, gently rocking back and forth. She stopped for a moment, putting her hair up in a messy bun so that her hair didn't fall into her face as she was swinging. It was already windy, and she'd prefer to see what she was doing. Least she run into a by-standard who decided to cross her path a little too close.
She began to swing as much as she could, reaching out to the sky with her feet every time she reached the climax of her swing. She laughed lightly, finding joy in this simple task. "Pitsiark! Pitsiark! Nunangoark adjiliwok tatkresiwok!" she sang lightly. It wasn't a standing out voice that she had, but it wasn't horrible either. Clear and light, soft and simple. It was a small inuit song that she learned when she was about four. It just meant beautiful, beautiful, flower imitates moon. Although, no one knew that other than her, and chances were, if anyone asked without her knowing them well, she'd probably get embarrassed and technically run away.
She slowed her swing to a light one, where her feet hardly lifted off of the ground. She noticed a figure off in the distance, working their way toward her. Or rather, probably just toward the playground. She blinked for a moment, wondering who it was, before she put on a small smile. "Hello?" she questioned, stopping her swing completely. She needed some sort of human contact, but she wasn't sure if this person would make her feel uncomfortable. Only time would tell. From here, she couldn't even tell if it was a male or female.

SITUATIONS ARE IRRELVANT NOW ,THE FRUSTRATION, IT'S A REGULAR THING ! I coughed and let out a sigh, I hated Victorian weather. It’s always too bloody cold. I put my cold hands into my tracksuit pants pockets, I felt like a Bogan. No I feel like a Bogan, I feel stupid. But this town half of it is filled with Bogans so you know what’s to complain I fit right in! I want to go to the pub or somewhere but I decided to go to the park and feel like a child in my twenty year old self. I looked around the park to see if anyone was there, I kind of wanted to be by myself but at the same time I would love to talk to someone. I don’t know why, the feeling of telling someone about myself makes me happy I suppose. Some people in this town will keep whatever you say to them to their death beds, but some people in this town will tell the next person who passes them. You can’t trust many people here anyways, except the oldies. The old people in this town are nice, some of them are evil and that’s because some of them hate young people. I don’t know what’s so bad about us young people but obviously they hate them which is kind of weird, okay yes some of us “young people” can piss them off and I do understand that, because I’m a little shit sometimes but hey! I’m a “young person” so I can do whatever the fuck I want. Okay well except commit mass murder, rape some babies and be a paedophile. But I can do whatever I want that are in the boundaries, I can by alcohol! That’s one thing I wish I could do when I was 16. My feet kept on dragging me towards the swings, “ Hey!” I heard someone call out, It was night time so unless they had superpowers or just ate their carrots, they could somehow see me. " Uhm... hello? " I said in confusing tone of voice, it was a woman’s voice which I was happy about because, well at least it wasn’t a 45 year old man kidnapping me I suppose. I coughed and sighed, I walked slowly towards the voice. I stood still and saw it was indeed a woman, she looked familiar, I smiled and realised who it was. " Oh hi Ria " I said waving and smiling at her, Ria is a girl who goes to uni with me. We aren’t the best of friends but it is the usual hello and what are you up to. We only have one class together which is alright, she doesn’t speak proper English but she’s getting there. I HATE THE ONES WHO LOVE TO HATE ,i hope you like this post of four fifty three , i put alot into it. this thread is tagged for the infamous shiro (ria) , we're going to be having tons of fun in this thread babe. and if you must know it's finished . oh and he's wearing this, these kick ass lyrics are from escape the fate, and the creator? oh that's just from kittykats of caution 2.0 , leave it on babe. now get started on posting, i'm waiting.

Ria smiled lightly when she realized that she knew this person, though only slightly. She knew that he studied Photography, while she was in Crim Law. They had a generalized class together that pretty much everyone had to take, but that was about it. If she remembered right, his name was Jake. She had asked his name once, but probably the only reason she remembered it was because the teacher did roll call every day, and Jake King was certainly one of those people. So was she, but her name was always said wrong, and the teacher couldn't remember to call her Ria.
She made a motion to place her fingers on her palms in a sort of 'good-bye' thing. She was never sure which motion to use. The greeting/goodbye she was used to was just holding your right hand up. There was no movement. But she had been told it didn't matter much which motion you used, because it got the message across good enough.
"Hello Jake. How... are you?" she questioned. There was a pause there, as she tried to figure out what she was trying to say. She motioned to the swing beside her so that he'd sit down. She wouldn't make him stay though. She was just glad that he hadn't asked her to speak inuit. She was also glad that he hadn't heard her sing that little kid song. Though she had to admit, she loved it despite that, like some people liked Mary had a little lamb. Though she never understood that song. It was just plain weird.
"Is it not nice out.... tonight?" she questioned. She hardly ever used things like 'Isn't' or 'don't'. She said it the long way, which sometimes made her sentences a little awkward. It was clear that she understood the basics of it. But she also didn't understand aussie lingo either. It was confusing for her. Heck, she didn't understand most of American lingo either. There was a huge difference there, she could tell you that much.
She checked her watch. It read 10:21 at night. She wished she had Anui with her again. Her dog had been her only companion in New York while she worked as a waitress, doing her undergrad study. He was a beautiful silver Husky that she got when she realized how much she actually missed living in her small Inuit village in Canada. She was safe there, that was for sure. Here, she wasn't sure where was a safe place to be, and where wasn't. Was it safe to be out here? In the middle of the night? Probably not, but it still calmed her.

SITUATIONS ARE IRRELVANT NOW ,THE FRUSTRATION, IT'S A REGULAR THING ! I smiled at Ria, she looked up at me and waved, I laughed to myself. " Hello Jake. How... are you?" She asked me, I shrugged my shoulders. I sat down next to her because well she did offer and I loved playing on the swings. " I’m alright, a bit better because well, at least I have someone to talk to then be a loner and listen to my music! " I replied with a chuckle, " What about you? How are you on this fine, evening? " I asked her. Ria, I didn’t mind her. We weren’t the best of friends, but it wasn’t like I hated her. I would like to get to know her more, I know she’s from Canada and I know that she is a pretty awesome person. Also she’s studying law, I could never in my whole life do law. I’d rather learn law from watching Law & Order than doing actual law studies. Plus it’s too many years for me, four years is enough. " Is it not nice out.... tonight?" She asked me, I nodded towards her. “ Yeah, it’s a tad cold, but at least it’s not like summer when it’ll be so hot you can’t even start the air-con up because it’s that hot. “ I told her, trying to be funny, but I bet I failed epically. I sighed and looked up at the stars; I think the one thing that I hate about people thinking about me. Is that I pick up girls at night and that I’m a user, which isn’t true. Most people have that perspective of me planted in their tiny brains. I probably do come off as one, but if some creep comes out here and try’s to steal Ria. I will probably cut a J in their chest and tell them to back the fuck off. I don’t know her as well with some people in this town, but I know her enough that I’d look out for her. It’s weird, that I’m a boy and I should be trying to pick her up. Boys are stupid like that. “ As weird as this sounds, like I’m not trying to ask you out or anything. But like what type of guy would you want as a boyfriend? I’m just curious as I am not a female, and you female’s minds are weird. No offence “ I said, ahhh fuck I’ve fucked it up haven’t I?
